it’s done, my ANZAC Day assignment!
Although I decided on images a little while back, it has taken a bit more effort to get the final presentation just as I want it. I feel that I have managed to capture the significant elements of the day, as well as meet the elements prescribed in the assignment brief- establishing images, narrative, grab shots, environmental portraits, details, close-ups and still life…yep big tick on all these! I would have loved to have received feedback from the first assignment to ensure that I don’t make repeat any mistakes made first time round, but there’s not much I can do about that! Let’s just hope that I nailed the first and this assignment! It’s funny really, I’ve done rather a lot of study but this unit I am the most passionate about and that makes me so much more keen to do well. Having a bit of perfectionist nature that means is spend far too long fussing over the smallest details!
more maternity….
Ok, so its getting close to the end of the week, and its been a bit of a long one. So while photos are easy for me, the words to go with them, take a little longer! And tonight the creative juices for stringing fun, whitty or even vaguely interesting words together is not with me….and as such I’m really not going to say much! This post is the second installment of Saturday’s session with Jean and Matt. She is still a stunner in front of the camera (and in person, for that matter!). I am looking forward to our newborn session in a few weeks, especially if it goes as well as this one did!

If you happen by, feel free to leave me some love – it’ll make my day!
Does my title makes sense….? Thought I would try a little play on words!! On Saturday I had a maternity session with the wonderfully photogenic mum-to-be Jean! She was just a natural in front of the camera, very much at ease and the perfect partner for someone like me, at ease behind the camera! This is just a little sneak peek from that session as I work my way through the photos. Will post some more of my favourite images from the session once proofing is complete.
